Track #10: Stay Real - April
Although
April is only a sophomore in high school, she has already made a
name for herself in her hometown of Seattle, Washington. She
performed with acts such as Tyrese, Ja Rule, City High, and Snoop
Dogg at Summer Jam 2001, sponsored by Seattle’s KUBE. In fact,
KUBE listeners voted April one of their top favorite local acts of
2001. “Stay Real,” her contribution to Operation Ground
Hero, is an upbeat song about appreciating the people that stand
by you through thick and thin.

Track #11: I Don't Wanna Dance Alone - One Vo1ce
One Vo1ce brings their very own style of pop and R&B to the table,
a sound that earned them a Top 100 hit on the Billboard charts in
2000 with their first single, "When You Think About Me". The
girls all grew up together in the Northern California town of
Vallejo singing together in the church choir. All of Filipino
heritage, the girls are all natural born entertainers and
developed a chemistry on stage from their first performance.
